The Cancun Dental Specialists gave me the best dental experience I have had in my life with taking care of my dental treatment plan! I live in the United states so it was different flying to Mexico to receive my dental work but they made me feel right at home! The facility was updated and clean! The customer service was top notch. They explained everything to me on day one and made me feel extremely comfortable with the entire process. They also provided transportation for me to get from the resort to their office.

Each doctor checked up on me and always ensured that I had no pain during my procedure. I had to get all my metal filings replaced along with 3 crowns, a root canal, changing the composites on my two front teeth and a dental whitening. They completed all this work within 3-4 days and my smile looks amazing!

Dr Jorge and Audrey completed the work on my crowns and did an amazing job ensuring that my bite was correct and that they fit perfectly along side my other teeth.
Dr Margarita and Dr Valeria did the work on my root canal and also did an amazing job since I didn’t feel any pain during the procedure.
The team at the front desk Ana, Lily, Frida and Janeth were always nice and welcoming everyday that I came into the office and made me feel at home.

The Cancun Dental Specialists go above and beyond to make sure your treatment plan is to your satisfaction. Anxiety about travelling to Mexico and having one’s teeth and gums treated by a Dentist is not an easy decision to reach. However, it is no different than that dental chair your local dentist, periodontist, or specialist has you reclining in during a procedure.
The advantages in cost including travel, lodging, will be greater than 1/2 what you pay in the USA. And that is staying in some very fine Mexican resorts too! I went through only one sedation/anesthesia procedure with extractions. However, I can honestly recall (unlike my 5 star reviewed local periodontal/implantologist ) I had minimal pain and swelling!.. I never reviewed my local periodontist because in comparison he “sucked” in pain management! The procedures I had were many and very carefully assessing, examining, fitting, tightening, photographing, radiographing, computer tomography, each angle to specificity for the upper bridge and lower implants I received..
It is a step by step process. I spent a total of 24 days completing the treatment,. Not all of this time was in the dental chair. I stayed in some excellent hotels. I brought my brother one trip and daughter on another trip. On the third trip I stayed in an all-inclusive that was beautiful and had transportation to and from the clinic each appointment day.
I completed all the treatment needed. I receive compliments on my smile, it is something that is a new experience, I seriously doubt the end result would have been anywhere near what I received from the Cancun Dental Specialists.
Did I have problems with the work in the end? NO!
Would I recommend Cancun Dental Specialists? YES!
Did I have excessive pain from extractions? NO!
Did I save money? YES
Did I learn how an efficient clinic for dentistry operates? YOU BETCHA!

I had an exceptional experience at Cancun Dental. I have had so many terrible experiences in the dental chair over the years that I developed an intense anxiety towards any dental work. I have gone so far as to be booted from the chair by a dentist who told my I was too tense and he simply couldn’t help me. After a failed implant, a botched root canal and an infected tooth (all done in NYC costing thousands of dollars)I found myself with no chewing teeth left on the upper right side of my mouth. At my wits end, I rolled the dice on Cancun Dental. I am so glad I did! It was a long process (mostly due to travel delays from the pandemic) but I left today with a three tooth bridge, two new crowns and all of my old metal fillings from the 80’s replaced with shiny new ones. I would like to specifically call out Dr Diego Aguilar and his assistant Freddie. I sat in his chair five days in a row to get my final work done and I have to say beyond being very professional, meticulous and skilled, he is also kind, patient and caring. I had to use anesthesia for the implant surgeries on my last visit and but also needed a Xanex to get me through the novocaine shots. When one of my impressions for a crown on a very tender tooth was not up to par, and we had to unexpectedly make a new one, I actually trusted Dr Diego enough at this point to allow him to give me a shot without any anxiety meds. Thank you so much for taking such great care of me. I know i am not an easy patient. This is an excellent clinic and I highly recommend coming to Cancun to get your dental work done.

My dental story.
I’m 71 and have suffered dental problems my entire life. Recouping the money spent in my mouth over the years would put a luxury automobile in my driveway. Dental woes run down the male side of my family like bald heads for others. My paternal grandfather and father, dentures. My older brother, chewing away on 12 implants at last count. While I’d love to lay all my dental woes at the feet of bad genes, honesty requires acceptance of the starring roles ignorance and carelessness also played in my dental drama.
Raised in the 1950’s, when “more doctors smoke Camels than any other cigarette”, my mother’s embrace of sugar sandwiches as acceptable nutrition for her children seems somewhat less criminally abusive than it does today. Back then, thirsty? Coca-Cola. Floss? Never heard of it.
My uncle was a dentist. If you check out the singing YouTube dentist Steve Martin in the movie Little Shop of Horrors, you’ll see my Uncle Doc through the eyes of my childhood imagination. When I was 8, I ran out of his dental chair in a futile attempt at refuge from his needles and drills by locking myself in the car. For decades, a common refrain I heard from multiple dentists in various cities went “My God, who drilled these fillings – never seen fillings so deep.” Doc’s enthusiastic drilling, paired with my early negligent oral hygiene, left me a weak dental foundation to build upon, even as I later developed much better dental habits. From multiple fillings, crowns, root canals, deep scaling, bridges, and even failed implants, my mouth is a seasoned veteran of dental warfare.
Which brings me to my point.
I’m no novice when it comes to dentistry.
Which I feel gives me some authority to make this recommendation: CDS provides excellent dental treatments, at substantial cost reductions, from a competent, compassionate, and thoroughly professional staff. I’ve never had better dental care.
I now sport my topside All on 5 Prettau Zirconia Bridge, four new bottom crowns, and am looking forward to fixing a few remaining chipped up bottom teeth in the near future. I can chew comfortably again, flash a new handsome smile with confidence, and wish I had discovered CDS years and years ago.

I began seeing Cancun Dental Specialist in 2017. I have had many issues from implant not taking to several crowns not sealed properly. They do not seem to have any records of my phone calls. The actual medical records are not correct. Last Summer several crowns were redone and I was just told this week by two United States dentists that I have multiple issues with some of the other crowns that were done at the clinic. I called soon after I left last July and told them several crowns were still hurting when I ate something sweet or I flossed. When I called this past week they offered to reimburse me less than $400. Out of all the crowns that need to be replaced they said that one had just gotten out of the warranty period. I sent my recent x-rays to them and wanted a real dentist to look at the x-rays. The man who answered the phone said that he was not a dentist, but he was the one who would evaluate my x-rays and wanted to disagree on what I had had done. I asked him to review the actual X-rays and not what I was billed for because certain things incorrect on my bill and I told them that before I left last summer. I got a very rude attitude with no understanding to the cost that it took to go to Mexico four different times four different times. How can multiple crowns have a cavity under them in less than a year? I also asked to speak to the dentist that owns the company and I was told I was not allowed to. All I asked was for a licensed dentist to look at all the x-rays from day one of my treatments and read the notes of the crowns that were already replaced as well as the new ones that have to be redone and possibly a root canal to the teeth because of the underlying cavity under a leaky crowns. On my last visit I was in Mexico 7 days and I traveled back and forth from Cozumel on several of the days. The person on the phone tried to tell me I was only there for 2 days. I sat in that Dental clinic multiple days last summer. I was basically told I was a liar on every aspect even though they have the x-rays. I would have appreciated being treated with respect and concern when I made my phone call this past week.
The drivers were very kind and respectful that is that only positive with my experience.

From the time that I spoke with our care specialist to the end of our treatment, we had a great experience. Cancun Dental Specialists made my husband and I very comfortable and at ease. We felt welcomed and cared for. The receptionist and administrative assistants were so helpful and kind. The payment process was easy and the dental staff were skillful and meticulous.
My husband and I started looking into options in the U.S. but saw and received estimates for an exorbitant amount of money-two to three times more expensive than U.S. dentists. Little did we know what a great experience we would have with CDS. My Doctors were Dr. Tony and Dr. Julian. My husbands were Dr. Julian and Dr. Isla. Each of these Doctors along with the dental assistants, made me feel so at ease and trusting of their care. I am a dental wimp so I needed help with the pain and compassion; they did both. The technology by comparison to the U.S. doctors that I have been to, is far advanced. We have two more visits (our cases are complex), and we look forward to it!
